English Bay Beach
One of Vancouver’s most famous and busiest beaches, English Bay Beach is located in the West End at Beach Ave and Denman St. It features golden sand, gentle waves, and stunning views of Burrard Inlet. The nearby Aquabus dock provides easy access to Granville Island. It’s also home to the Sunset Beach Pavilion, a popular event space.
Douk Beach
A lesser-known and more hidden gem, Douk Beach is a small and secluded beach area near Stanley Park’s Seawall. It’s often used by locals who prefer a more peaceful experience away from the bigger, more touristy beaches. It’s perfect for those who want to enjoy nature with fewer distractions.
